Ticketed events Boxed and Burlap has planned for 2025 include a variety of bourbon socials, spirit events + wine events.
Enjoy music and amazing food, excellent bourbon, spirits and/or wine great information and good company.

The speakeasy opens at 6p for each of these events with a cocktail hour included in most of the events . Then around 7pm head into the evening event in the lower level event space.

We hope you can join us, as all of these events are special and definitely a great time!

Some events have tickets that are open to the public to purchase tickets. SPEAKEASY 119 members receive exclusive access to purchase tickets to all events.

Fresh from his fabulous run at the famous MGM Grand Las Vegas, come see for yourself why headliner ANTHONY BONAZZO was voted one of New City Chicago 's 2025 Top Comedians!

One of seven siblings, Anthony honed his skills in childhood doing impressions of family members at the dinner table. No longer grounded to his room, he's now the host of Anthony Bonazzo Presents, is a monthly headliner at The Comedy Bar, and performs regularly at Zanies, The Comedy Bar, and comedy clubs all over the country.

Following the success of his Tubi TV hit stand-up special Northside Southside , Anthony was featured in in viral videos for The Onion, got a spotlight on Dry Bar Comedy, and toured as the opener for heavy-hitters like Michael Che, Kathleen Madigan, Jessica Kirson, and Roy Wood Jr. - and recently opened for Vir Das and Adam Carolla at the Park West Theater.

And now Anthony's bringing his boundary-pushing perspective to The Laughing Academy's Lake Geneva audience - and as he puts is, “That’s comedy; if you’re not pushing the envelope, why are you doing it?”
